Rhododendron

One of Western New York's favorite spring bloomers, these evergreen favorites should have their location well thought out. They are sensitive to rapid temperature drops and are best located in a  protected site, usually the east or protected north side of your home. When planting dig a hole twice the width of the pot and backfill with half peat moss. There are many specific Azalea/Rhododendron fertilizers, we recommend a granular slow feed.
