Spacing Groundcover- there is no hard and fast rule regarding the spacing of ground covers at the time of planting. Simply the closer the spacing the faster bed will fill in. Keep in mind the longer the bed takes to fill in, the more maintenance in the form of weeding and mulching will be required. The right plant for the right place: SLOPES - euonymus, hedera, hypericum, lonicera, polygonum, parethencissus, potentilla, vinca SUN LOVING- aegepodium, ajuga, artemisia, cotoneaster, dianthus, euonymus, festuca, hedera, hosta, hypericum, juniper, lamium, lonicera, parthencissus, polygonum, potentilla, sagina, sedum. semervivum, spirea.
