Red Twig Dogwood (Cornus sericea 'baileyi') - a beacon in the winter landscape with it's bright red stems, this selection is tolerant of poor soils and wet areas. Great for massing, has good red-purple fall color and should be trimmed yearly to remove old growth as new growth has best color. hardy zone 2. matures 6 x 9 if never pruned. Good for birds.218
